The parents are very encouraging and they admit their wards in tennis schools when the child is young.

Popular Tennis stars and noted tennis tournaments in Spain

Barcelona WTA Tournament is one of the most celebrated tennis tournaments in Spain. Held in Barcelona, this tennis tournament is for women tennis players. A number of top seeded women tennis stars had competed in this prestigious tournament. After being halted for twelve years, the tournament returned with its full glory in the year 2007. It was held from 11th June to 16th June. Meghann Shaughnessy emerged as the champion, defeating Edina Gallovits in the final.

Some of the other tennis tournaments that have been held or held every year include 1979 Federation Cup, 2006 WTA tour Championships, Battle of Surfaces, Madrid Masters, Open de Tenis Comunidad Valencia, 1992 Summer Olympics, Torneo Ciudad de Barcelona, Torneo Godo, and 2007 WTA Tour Championships.
