Best Time for Visiting Salvador
El Salvador experiences a tropical climate having only two seasons: the dry season (from November to April), and the wet or rainy season (from May to October). The coastal areas remain the hottest places all over the year, whereas the mountainous regions always remain cool with low temperatures. The best time of the year to visit El Salvador is at the commencement or end of the dry season, when there are no daily rains and the conditions of the roads remain in good position. Moreover, most of the cultural and traditional festivals of Salvador take place during this time. The prime vacation period starts from Christmas till mid-January. You can get the opportunity to enjoy the week-long festival of Semana Santa before Easter and also during the first week of August when the annual festival of San Salvador takes place.
